Creating Event Calendars with Drupal (A Case Study of http://campusevents.uncc.edu)

This session will be a case study of the UNC Charlotte Campus Events web site, which was recently launched in conjunction with the new UNC Charlotte upper tier web pages (http://www.uncc.edu).

Topics will include:

• Modules used for the site
• Custom theming techniques (Extending the standard campus theme)
• Developing the calendar views
• Developing the event submission system
• Providing web services for other campus web sites and Custom RSS feeds (Beyond default Drupal feeds)
