What's a Drupal?

Many folks in the Appalachian community in particular are coming to camp to get an understanding of what Drupal is in the first place.  This session, which should be held in the first slot during the day, will introduce key concepts about Drupal - what a node is, how certain things are done with Drupal, and a basic history.

Session Format: Presenter

Material Covered:

  • A brief history of the project
  • Basic concepts about Drupal - content management, nodes, basic modules/terms/jargon you might hear thrown around the rest of the day

For those people who are very, very new to Drupal - it would benefit you to attend this at the beginning of the day in order to frame the rest of your participation in the camp.
